SUSTRANS 'BIKE IT' PROJECT - 14th OCT

SUSTRANS 'BIKE IT' PROJECT - 14th OCT

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Staff,

Sustrans Bike It Plus at the Wey Valley School.

Sustrans is running the Bike It Plus project at Wey Valley School to help more students and staff to be able to cycle to and from college.

We will be running an information stall at school on Friday 14th October during lunchtime. On the stall we will have a selection of things available to students and staff including:
• Bike gear sale - really cheap deals on lights, locks and more. (Prices below).
• Help and advice about cycling and bikes in general
• Free cycle route maps for
• Free puncture repair kits

Gear Sale items:

  • Sustrans LED lights twinpack (battery powered) £6 (RRP £12)
  • Knog LED lights twinpack (rechargeable with USB) £16 (RRP £39.99)
  • D-Lock with Cable (black, blue or green) £7 (RRP £32.99)
  • Multitool 10-1 £5 (RRP £13.19)
  • Green Oil £5 (RRP £6.99)
  • Gear sale items are sold by the Sustrans Bike It Plus project at subsidised prices for these events only.

Sustrans will not make any money from the sale of these items.

At Sustrans, we think cycling is an excellent way for people to travel, as it saves money, is good for their health and the environment, and it helps to develop independence and road safety skills. We can also help with cycle training, and by reducing the number of cars around the college, we can help to make the neighbourhood a quieter, safer and less congested place.

We look forward to seeing you there,
