The Wey Valley School ICT Curriculum

The increasing use of technology makes confident, creative and productive use of ICT an essential skill for life.  The KS3 ICT/computing curriculum encompasses not only the mastery of technical skills and techniques, but also the understanding to apply these skills in everyday life and employment.  KS3 students at The Wey Valley School study a combined ICT/computing curriculum. ICT teaches students to find, develop, analyse and present information as well as to model situations and solve problems.  Computing teaches students how computers and computer systems work and how they are constructed and programmed.
