Dance show reaches new heights

With the title 'Let The Moment Last' the annual Wey Valley School dance show allowed dancers from across all year groups to showcase their skills and talents in a wide variety of dance pieces. The work ranged from Musical Theatre to post-modern contemporary and included work from three school dance clubs.

Julie Ashmore, Head of Performing Arts said, ‘After months of rehearsals, the energy and enthusiasm was flowing high on the night and students danced with commitment and passion, giving the whole evening a real sense of professionalism’.

Sara Adams, Principal added, ‘ What a fantastic evening with so many students entertaining parents, staff and friends in our Will Mackaness Hall.   Many parents commented after the show on how well all the students performed.  The annual dance show has always been well received by our parents and carers and I am sure this opportunity will inspire our students to go further with their passion and studies for performing arts.’
