The Wey Valley School Art Department held its Annual Art Exhibition to the delight of parents, guests, staff, governors and students with some remarkable art, graphic and photography works on display.

Alison Moore, joint Head of Art at The Wey Valley School said, ‘It has been another fabulous year with our Year 11 Art and Photography students, culminating in the opening of our new Art Exhibition room and welcoming many visitors to the showcase our student’s artistic talents.  The standard of work has once again reached exceptionally high standards.  There was a great buzz in the exhibition, to see such a variety of exhibits on show.’

The school will now be inviting students across the school to visit the exhibition as a learning resource, learning more about the requirements and potential of the Art GCSE courses on offer.

Ms Sara Adams, Principal at The Wey Valley School paid tribute to the Year 11 students and the Art Department, ‘The feedback from parents and guests during the Art exhibition has been fantastic and a real showcase of our student’s artistic talents. Well done to Year 11 and the Art Department – I am sure that some of our students will now continue their passion for art and photography at sixth form or college.’
